About Us

Seaway’s diverse administrative offerings combined with a willingness to roll up our sleeves results in clients reaching their performance goals and operational demands.

Our creative team and network of community partners provide marine and business services that are known for innovative strategies, resourceful problem solving, and implementation of operational plans that work on a fundamental level. Our goal is to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients, achieving equitable and prosperous work environments.

Leah Robinson has worked in British Columbia's marine environment since 2005. Her experiences in the sector began in the outdoor leadership and education realm, and evolved into more industrious sectors.

Robinson fully realized her passion for BC's coast while working as an Operations Coordinator for conservation organisations in 'Namgis traditional territory. From that experience her understanding about the relationship between conservation and industry solidified, and she naturally began to work to bridge the gap between communities and sectors.

A problem solver with a pragmatic, can-do approach, her skills as a good listener and no-nonsense communicator has helped Robinson foster relationships with people from all walks of life. She has worked in numerous roles with NGOs, industry and First Nations. In her most recent role as Harbour Manager at Port Hardy Harbour Authority, Robinson dove into the issue of industry-related marine pollutants and the issue of derelict vessels in harbours. In cooperation with several levels of government, coast guard, and private businesses, she achieved success in spearheading a local initiative to clean up Port Hardy's harbour and continues to take interest in supporting healthy social and physical environments on B.C.'s coast.
